After an extremely long hiatus due to moving cross-country...the LBBP is back! to kick off things here at the new house, I brewed up a 4 gallon batch of Noble Spring, and a 1.25 gallon APA. Then I pulled a gallon from the pilsner and blended it in with the APA, and that is where the experiment currently is awaiting a result. the weather here has been going nutso, and the wine fridge that I ferment in is currently living in the garage, so its temperature is actually quite low...talking 43-45° low. so hopefully the 34/70 still does its job. the plan is to leave that alone for 7-10 days, then I will pull the fermenter and let it warm up a bit to finish out. the APA has wyeast 1968 going, and it's in the mid 60s. so minimal concerns there.
only time will tell, so I'll post back with updates when I've got 'em. until then, brew strong!
