Here in the cold dead of winter, I wanted to brew up a bock to enjoy during the spring thaw. I went with the "jacked up Helles" version of the Maibock style to keep the recipe simplistic.
This beer ended up being super smooth and honey-like sweet. Very very nice for an after dinner drink, but kind of difficult to have more than one of. I would make it again for what it is, but I would definitely bottle condition it so it doesn't take up a tap (like it is now) for an extended period.
